Dear Administrator:
I am writing in support of Elizabeth Fisher's petition to amend 49CFR571.209.
As I travel the country giving workshops and reading from my novels, I've heard
many concerns about the health of fat men and women in this country. Surely
one of the most direct and effective ways of protecting the health of this population
would be to require automobile manufacturers to provide seatbelts or extenders
that fit people of all sizes, showing the same level of concern for our safety
as for other citizens.
