Honda Says "No" to Seat Belts for Larger Passengers

Subject: New seat belt regulations needed
To: samfarr@mail.house.gov
From: "Fred Wehling"

Dear Congressman Farr,

I write to ask you to support the effort to amend NHTSA Regulation 571.209, Standard No. 209, which sets standards for automobile and light truck seat belts. At present, auto manufactureers are not required to install seat belts which acommodate all adult Americans, particularly persons of size. Amending this regulation would give all drivers and passengers on America's roads the full protection afforded by automotive safety equipment, and would help save lives.

Sincerely,

Fred Wehling
